Accommodation Recommendations

There are several hotels in the Lakewood and Toms River area. The towns are approximately a 10-15 minute drive from the hanger. Due to the close proximity to the Jersey Shore room rate may vary with the season.

Food

For lunch we recommend LUIGI's in Lakehurst. They specialize in Italian food (betcha you wouldn't have guessed) and they make terrific sub sandwiches. It is also a fine choice for dinner. To get there turn right as you exit the base, proceed through the traffic light. Turn left at the stop sign and you are there!

Burger King, Mc Donalds, 7-11 Convenience Store, WaWa Convience Store, Cuozzo's Deli and last but not least the ole' Lakehurst Diner
